Welcome to the Meridian Grand Lodge Community Service Page
The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Origin Meridian Grand Lodge of Florida is dedicated to improving lives through consistent, visible community service. Our Lodges and Chapters across the state engage in outreach programs that reflect our core Masonic values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
This page showcases our ongoing work—projects that strengthen families, uplift neighborhoods, and demonstrate what service in action looks like. Members are encouraged to submit photos and short summaries of completed events so we can share the collective impact of our Fraternity.

In the Community, making a difference!

New Era in colloaboration with Ujima.
Ujima Men’s Collective is a community-based organization that supports and uplifts Black same-gender-loving men. It focuses on personal growth, health, and leadership while promoting equality and social responsibility. Through workshops, town halls, and annual events like the Noir Diamond Awards, Ujima provides education, advocacy, and a safe space for connection. The organization addresses key issues such as HIV awareness, mental health, self-esteem, and homophobia, helping members build confidence and stronger community ties. Ujima’s mission centers on unity, empowerment, and the belief that collective action and shared responsibility strengthen both individuals and the broader Black LGBTQ+ community.

New Era No. 69
Commemorating their 5th Anniversary
Commemorating New Era's 5th anniversary, we proudly hosted a community forum with Congresswoman Sheila McCormick, representing Florida's 20th District. The congresswoman addressed the government shutdown and engaged in a thought-provoking Q&A session, followed by a reception. This pivotal event aimed to raise awareness about pressing issues in DC and empower our community to act. Congresswoman McCormick shared invaluable insights on mobilizing beyond voting, inspiring our community to become active participants in shaping their future.
The evening's highlight was a $500 donation to the African American Research Library and Cultural Arts Center, a tribute to the legacy of Rev. Clements. This esteemed institution enriches our community through its monthly Saturday school, teaching Black history and culture. As a proud board member for four years, New Era Masonic Lodge No. 69 reaffirms its commitment to community upliftment and empowerment. Happy 5th anniversary to New Era - may our dedication to service and community continue to flourish!
